Sorry but Yes4Access is now closed. It used to be a free-to-use directory of wheelchair-accessible hotels and guesthouses with photos of facilities.

My idea was to charge hotels a small fee to be listed on the basis that it provides disabled people with an easy-to-use way of finding suitable accommodation rather than trawling through the web and making phone calls.

It could have been an interesting project but for me to run it as a not-for-profit and keep it up-to-date, it needs to make some money to pay for marketing and sadly, hoteliers just aren’t interested in parting with cash when bookings aren’t guaranteed.

Thus, lots of pages have old information which I don’t have time to update.

So, whilst it saddens me, I’ve decided to close it down for good.
